This online class is a two half-day virtual event and is a must-attend for anyone who has responsibility for HR and personnel management in their township.

October 13:

9:00-10:00 - Anyone Hear of This Thing Called COVID? Hot Topics in Labor and Employment Law

This will be a fast-paced hour on what is new and upcoming in the L&E world. We will cover legal developments, pending legislation and attempt to predict the future. 

10:15-11:15 - Pandemic Preparedness (Employment in the Time of COVID)

As employers begin to call employees back from teleworking and/or furlough, what are some best practices in keeping your workplace safe and preventing spread?

11:30-12:30 – Yes, You Still Have to Keep Coming to Work - Accommodation Requests in a Brave New World

In this session, you will learn how to handle ADA accommodation requests and underlying health conditions during COVID and beyond.

October 14:

9:00-10:00 - Working in My Pajamas Still Counts/Handling Attendance Issues

This session will help you navigate attendance challenges and the new FFCRA leave laws and how they interplay with existing laws such as the FMLA.

10:15-11:15 - Paying People in a Changing Economy

Learn about ways to address FLSA issues in a virtual workplace. 

11:30-12:30 - Stump the Lawyers

This will be a Q&A free-for-all.

Cancellation/No-Show Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing by faxing to 717-763-9732 or sending an email to Refunds will be determined by the date of the fax or email. A cancellation
received less than 10 business days before the session you are registered for is subject to a $20
processing fee for refunds.Those who cancel within two business days of the session date or do not
attend forfeit the full registration fee which, if unpaid, will be invoiced.
