In 2017, pedestrian-related crashes represented only 3.2% of the total reported. Those accidents, however, accounted for 13.2% of all traffic crash fatalities. Many of these incidents occurred at intersections and mid-block crossings. Attend this virtual workshop to learn about a variety of infrastructure countermeasures that have been effective in keeping pedestrians safer.
