On-Demand Webinar - Using Conservation Easements to Protect Open Space

The conservation easement is a tool for achieving conservation in the public interest that doesn’t rely on regulation yet allows private landowners to maintain ownership and control of their land. Millions of acres have been conserved using it. This webinar, presented by knowledgeable and experienced staff from the Pa. Land Trust Association, will help you understand this tool so that you can better evaluate its use by your township. It will also help you understand what factors you should consider in setting the conservation objectives, restrictive covenants, and other terms that are set forth in the legal document that establishes the easement.
